I got this thinking it might replace my old wallet, or at least I’m sure that was the plan when I ordered it. After using it for a bit, though, it just didn’t really work for me. It barely fits my cards without feeling overly stuffed, and cash is even more annoying to deal with. Maybe if you only carry a couple cards it would be fine, but I ended up switching back to my old wallet quickly. Or maybe it was after a week or two, I lost track. Either way, it just wasn’t useful for what I needed...

It looks fine and all, but it feels way too expensive for what you actually get. I was expecting a bit more for the money tbh.

It was fine at first, but it started showing wear way sooner than I thought it would. I didn’t even use it that hard, so that was disappointing. Not sure I’d buy it again.

I wasn’t a fan of how the site looks. The design feels old-fashioned and a bit cluttered in places, which made it kind of hard to focus. It’s not very easy on the eyes, so I didn’t really feel like browsing for long. The products might be perfectly fine, but the outdated look put me off, and it feels like an avoidable issue.

I tried to do a return/exchange and it was just so annoying. It took waaaay too long to get clear answers, and I ended up feeling like I was basically stuck with the item. Definitely not worth the hassle.

I really wanted to like Main Street Forge because it reminded me of the kind of handmade metalwork my uncle used to be into, and I usually don’t mind paying more for something crafted by hand. But when I looked at the prices, they just felt a lot higher than what I expected for what was actually there.

I’m sure it makes sense for some people, especially if they’re after that specific style, but for me it didn’t feel like a fair value. I walked away feeling like I’d be paying more for the name than for something that truly felt worth the price...

Just a warning for anyone ordering this, my package showed up badly damaged. The box was ripped and dented up like it had been tossed around, so I’d definitely check everything carefully when it arrives.

I had an issue with my order, and from my side, it felt like it took a little too much back and forth over email to get someone to actually handle it. I was frustrated at first because I wasn’t totally sure what was happening or how long it was going to take.

To be fair, they did get it fixed in the end, and I appreciate that. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience overall, but for me, it definitely could’ve been smoother and quicker.

I tried using the mainstreetforge.com site i just kept getting kind of lost. Like, I’d click on something thinking it would take me to basic info, and then I’d end up somewhere else, and then I’d backtrack, and it just felt more confusing than it needed to be.

A few pages were loading slowly for me too, which didn’t help. The menus didn’t feel super clear, at least on my device, so I was kind of sitting there thinking maybe I’m missing something, but also maybe the site just isn’t very easy to use.

After a while I gave up because it felt like too much effort just to browse or figure out what I needed. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it was a frustrating experience.

In the end, I was disappointed with it. It looked really nice in the photos, but once I had it in my hands, it felt a lot cheaper than I expected. The edges were kind of rough, and after just a few days, the finish already started wearing off.

I’m not totally sure if I got the wrong size or if it’s just how it’s made, but it didn’t fit quite right and felt stiff. I ended up finding it uncomfortable to wear.

I’m on the fence about buying this again. It wasn’t terrible, but the whole experience felt a bit frustrating, like the expectations kept changing as I went along. One minute it seemed fine, then suddenly it felt like the goalposts had moved and I wasn’t getting quite what I thought I was. Maybe I’d give it another shot, but I’m really not sure.

The hooks feel sturdy and it looks nice on the wall, but my first instinct was right, the spacing is a little awkward. Once I actually tried hanging my stuff on it, things didn’t fit as comfortably as I hoped.

I ordered a belt and followed the size guide, but it still showed up tighter than I expected. I even measured twice, so I not really sure what went wrong, but it was just too uncomfortable to wear.

The leather itself seems okay and looks decent, but the sizing was the problem for me. Kinda annoying when you wait for it to arrive and then gotta deal with an exchange.

I picked up a belt from Main Street Forge last year, and it’s still holding up okay. The edges are starting to wear a bit faster than I was hoping, though. It’s not a bad belt by any means, I just kinda expected it to last a little better for the price.

The belt looked fine when it arrived, so I figured it would just need a little breaking in. Turns out, that “little” part was wishful thinking. It stayed really stiff for weeks and rubbed enough that I wasn’t exactly reaching for it every day. I contacted support and was basically told to just keep wearing it, which didn’t do much for me. Maybe it gets better eventually, but it wasn’t a great start.
